Showcomotion needs you...

Showcomotion depends on industry volunteers to keep it in touch with the issues and to help run things smoothly. The main volunteer roles are:

The Showcomotion Advisory Committee

Chair Anna Home invites leading figures from production, animation, terrestrial and cable & satellite broadcast, distribution, marketing, the games and internet sectors to consider the themes, session and speaker ideas and strategy for the conference. The committee meets monthly throughout the year, reacts to events as they unfold and provides invaluable contact with key figures who might contribute to the conference content.

Session Producers

The backbone of the Showcomotion Conference is our army of volunteer producers – each responsible for the content of one of the conference’s sessions and for co-ordinating the contributors to produce lively presentations and debate. If you would like to volunteer your services as a session producer see here for more detail on the responsibilities and time commitment.

Technical Directors and Runners

Production support at Showcomotion is in the hands of a volunteer team who ensure the smooth running of the conference sessions technically and in terms of session rehearsals and the flow of speakers. Volunteers also staff the registration and information desk. For more information on how to apply for these roles see here

Showcomotion attracts sponsorship support from every section of the industry, from the big broadcasters through to smaller production and service companies.  We welcome your enquiries about the benefits and cost.
