Teresa Orange started her career in advertising during the early eighties. At J. Walter Thompson she became the children’s specialist and founded the JWT children’s panel.

In 1992 she founded Teresa Orange Research – a qualitative research consultancy specialising in media and children’s brands. In 2005 she published The Media Diet for Kids with Louise O’Flynn, and in June this year she published How to stop you kids watching too much TV, etc. She believes that media parenting is one of the toughest challenges facing parents today, and thinks that broadcasters and Government should do all they can to help parents be more proactive in their role as media gatekeepers.
