Director of Market Research and Project Director, Children's Review of Programming

James ThickettJames Thickett is Ofcom's Director of Market Research and Project Director for Ofcom's Review of Children's Programming.  James joined Ofcom in January 2006 after 8 years at the BBC, where he was Controller of Business Strategy.  Prior to the BBC James worked for 7 years for The Walt Disney Company where he was European marketing director for home entertainment. He started his career as a marketing trainee for Nestle.  James graduated from Merton College, Oxford with an honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.  He also has an MBA from Henley Management College.  He is married with two children and lives in West London.
